Searching for Father Dillon ! 

À la recherche du père Dillon !

A few months ago our neighbor Paul Quinn got in contact through this website. Really surprising. And interesting as Paul and my brother got in contact again.

Recently my brother Jean-Pierre and his good friend Paul started to search for Father Dillon, a priest they had known in the late sixties in the elementary school called Immaculate Conception.  That was the school we all attended in Levittown, PA. So Father Dillon, I suppose you must have had a good influence during your teaching years there. And if you manage to read this please get in contact.

You might remember your Citroën DS that Gene sold you at Import Motors. Or remember the sticker below that must have been on the back of your light blue colored DS? Or was it an ID ? That must have been funny to see a priest get out of a car like that on the parking lot of the presbitary along side the school. I guess all the owners of Citroën's felt somehow like they came from Mars. So a priest from Mars ....  how awesome!  :-)

Please get in contact! We'd love to hear from you. I doubt that you remember me but I do remember your car. It might even still exist as I suppose you must have blessed the car ? :-) Could it be the one in the TV series Mentalist?

Mes recherches 

Si jamais j'ai la possibilité de retrouver une voiture vendue aux États Unis par Gene je serais tenté de la racheter. Mais pour en avoir la certitude je sollicite Citroën pour fournir la liste des voitures vendues par Import Motors. Si vous avez une influence auprès de Citroën j'apprécierai votre aide.

D'autre part si Citroën pouvait aussi me fournir les coordonnées de Michel, leur commercial sur la zone Est USA je serai heureux d'avoir de ses nouvelles, si possible.

Quelques témoignages de  clients d'Import Motors seront également les bienvenues. Je les mettrai dans le journal.

Grâce à ce petit site j'ai eu l'agréable surprise d'être contacté par un ancien voisin de Levittown. Il s'agissait de Paul qui habitait juste derrière notre maison. Il était copain avec mon frère et à mentionné plusieurs souvenirs comme la DS de"Father Dillon". Elle était bleue clair mais non métalisée je crois.
